WESTPORT CONSTRUCTION was started in Santa Cruz in 1980 as part of a development company. State licensed in 1982 as General Contractors, we have been active for nearly twenty-five years building residential structures exclusively. The company is owned and managed by John Cunniff as the sole proprietor.

We have produced a variety of residential projects over the years with one common thread: a keen sense for fine quality in both design and craftsmanship. Working with architects and building designers, we have contracted to produce outstanding projects in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and Monterey Counties. We have a team of subcontractors and tradesman who can produce exceptional workmanship. Intimate knowledge of the building trades allows us to manage effectively and create detail oriented and superior quality homes.
